Great Families Charitable Trust is an organisation that strives to empower immigrants with knowledge and skills so they can make good, conscious decisions on how to support themselves and their families' success in New Zealand, to settle, integrate and contribute.

Great Families endeavours to build a network and plan that can support immigrant families in understanding how to navigate New Zealand.

We are creating a new model called "Collective Empowerment Model, for supporting parents and children with the idea that empowering parents with the right information about the community with special attention to their children's learning will create better outcomes for the family: reducing stress, mental illness and improving family relationships and children's success in school and in the future.

Our founders

The Great Families Charitable Trust was founded by Xiaobo Leng and her team after years of tutoring experience with children and parents, and facilitating experience with Toolbox Parenting groups, who realized that great family relationship is the foundation of a happy family, which nourishes great kids. To build a great family relationship can sometimes be a life-long learning and practice. Tears and tortures, mistakes and broken relationships which bring deep harm to children and families could be avoided if equipped with the right knowledge and skills. They are dedicated to explore better ways helping families to grow and thrive.
